The Xend Finance Asset Chain Testnet Is Live
Over the past few months, we've been working on what we consider the biggest advancement in the world of finance yet: the tokenization of real-world assets. We’re proud to announce that in our quest to embrace real-world assets as our core value proposition, we’ve created the most important piece of the puzzle: The Xend Finance Asset Chain.
The Xend Finance Asset Chain is a layer-1 native blockchain for Xend Finance’s real-world Asset OAE (Onchain Asset Environment). It was created to allow the seamless onboarding of all legally transactable asset types on-chain.
The Asset Chain is a decentralized, open-source EVM compatible platform to enable quick, secure, and scalable infrastructure for dApps. Simply put, the Asset Chain makes it possible to seamlessly tokenize, verify, and manage real-world assets legally and securely. Not only is it open-source, but it is also fast and scalable, attaining transaction finality within 1-3 seconds, processing up to 5000 transactions every second, scaling to accommodate hundreds of thousands of nodes, and so much more. It also relies on Lachesis’s proof-of-stake consensus to secure and process transactions quickly.

But this is the best part.
Today, we announce the official launch of Xend Finance Asset Chain testnet! This will allow our valued community members like you to check, test, and hack to give feedback on all these mind-blowing features listed before the Mainnet goes live. This feedback will enable us to launch a stable mainnet and leapfrog our evolution in our core value proposition in the real-world asset space.
We’ll soon announce our testnet campaign, where community members like you will have a chance to earn airdrops by completing certain tasks, finding and reporting bugs, giving feedback, and a whole lot of other activities.
